The Fender Reissue Shop is the home of the Fender American Vintage Reissue Stratocaster and Telecaster!  We are here to provide accurate and detailed information regarding Fender American Vintage Reissue Strats and Teles from 1982-present day.  Our main focus are the early reissue strat and tele, particularly those made at the original Fullerton, CA factory from 1982-1984.  We also have a keen interest in the very first reissue strats and teles made at the Corona, CA factory from 1985-1989.  Our main luthier here at The Fender Reissue Shop has taken apart and inspected over 300 American Vintage Reissue Strats and Teles!  He knows every possible detail of these great guitars and over the years has compiled a comprehensive collection of features, pictures, and characteristics of these fine instruments.  We also have posted a gallery of The Fender Reissue Shop's collection of early Fullerton and Corona factory Strats and Teles.  Many of these reissue strats are currently for sale.  For pricing information please sign up for our newsletter.  Newsletters will be sent out twice per month.

1982 Fender '52 Vintage Reissue Telecaster.  Serial number 0146!  This is one of the very first reissue telecasters to be made.  Includes the extremely rare certificate of authenticity with matching serial number and Extremely early April 12, 1982 date!  Also includes original owners manual, original case, original strap, and original 6 saddle bridge.  This is the earliest 1982 reissue that we have seen here at The Fender Reissue Shop.  What a find! 1982 Fender '57 Reissue Stratocaster.  Super low serial number!  This is one early reissue strat!  This guitar has the super rare grey bottom pickups with 1982 date stamp, early 1982 neckdate, extremely low 3 digit serial number, and factory routing in the body!  This is one for the collectors.  This guitar even has the original 3-way switch still in the guitar.  As you know, it was common for these to be swapped out the the more popular 5-way switch.  Guitar comes with original tweed case, owners manual, strap, and tremolo bar.

1982 Fender '57 Reissue Stratocaster.  This guitar is perfect!  Near mint condition.  You will be hard pressed to find an early reissue as nice as this one.  This one is loaded with all the rare features; red bottom pickups, factory routed body, neck pocket serial number sticker, and super low serial number.  This guitar has the prominent black in its sunburst finish, which can be found on some of the early 2-sunburst reissues. Just check out the early 5-12-82 neckdate, this misses the earliest known reissue neckdate by just 1 day! $5799. SOLD.

 

1982 Fender '62 American Vintage Reissue Stratocaster finished in 3-sunburst. This guitar was one of the very last 1982 reissues to be made. This guitar features red bottom pickups with thin plastic wiring but the pots and switch are wired with the cloth covered wiring. This is the first time I have seen this from the factory. All solder is original. Fender must have had an extra set of red bottoms laying around and they decided to slap them into this guitar. Very cool! Neckdate of 12-8-82. This guitar is in great condition. Comes with tons of original case candy.

 1983 Fender '62 Reissue Stratocaster in Candy Apple Red.  This strat is in near mint condition.  Practically brand new!  Rarely do these candy apple red strats come up for sale, we happened to stumble across this one last month!  Custom color Candy Apple Red in near mint condition.  The neck has tons of great figuring in the wood.  This is one of the best looking guitars we ahve come across here at The Fender Reissue Shop.  100% original.  Even has original 3-way switch installed.  11-4-83 neckdate.  $4899. SOLD.
