 2003 Martin OM-28JM John Mayer Acoustic Guitar.  This guitar is serial number 79/404.  Only 404 of these guitar were made in 2003 and they rarely come up for sale.  This particular guitar is serial number 79 and is in fantastic condition.  Condition is 9/10.  The front, back, and neck of this guitar are perfect.  The only flaws on this guitar are on the back of the headstock as pictured.  These are small indentations in the wood.  It looks almost as if there was a guitar cable that was touching the finish for a while, which mared the finish. This is the only flaw on the guitar, the remainder is in incredible condition.  Guitar sets up perfectly and sounds like a dream.

14 frets.  25.4" scale.


East Indian rosewood back and sides.

Solid Engelman spruce top with scalloped X bracing.

Mahogany neck.

Zigzag backstripe and herringbone binding.

Silver headstock and bridge inlay work.

Fretboard inlayed with John Mayer signature and special "Pilot" design.
