1983 Fender Smith Strat in Super Rare Stratoburst finish. The stratoburst finish is one of the rarest finishes on these smith strats. The stratoburst finish was also available on The Strat, but is rarely seen on Smith Strats. Here is a silver/blue stratoburst finish. Extremely rare! A few things have been changed on this guitar, such as hole drilled in the headstock for different tuners and a routing within the body for a humbucker pickup. THe guitar now has fender custom shop pickups installed and a replaced volume pot. The two tone pots are original and date to 1983. The butt of the neck is stamped 1983. SOLD
